Warimba

Warimba is an international hammock brand based in Wynwood, Miami, that embodies the Latin American spirit of struggle, the pursuit of peace and justice, and the defense of human rights. The hammocks’ design is influenced by the Maya and Wayuu cultures—two Latin American cultures renowned for their richness—as well as the ancestral roots of the brand’s founders.

Warimba comes from “Guarimba,” which in Venezuelan slang means “safe place” and in recent decades has been used as a term of protest against the dictatorial government.

For the brand’s identity, a unique typeface was created, along with a logo inspired by Wayuu weaving and a series of illustrations that convey the brand’s values and personality.
