S Architecture
Gerardo Sarur is an architect based in Mexico City who sought to revamp his brand image to better reflect what architecture means to him. The graphic design offers two interpretations—a creative touch that can be seen as the inevitable duality inherent in this discipline: time and space; base and height.
The aim is to convey two messages along a single timeline, employing a two-dimensional logic that evokes an architectural plan.
The result is a understated logo that embeds the firm’s signature within the discipline, playing with perspective so that it can be read both horizontally and vertically. This principle is extended to branding applications such as office stationery and business cards, among others.
