This is the paradox of knowing the unknown. It is the absolute resolution to always keep your sight fresh, always open to the changing beauty of the world. It is the irreverent poetry that is laughter and melancholy. It is TE EXTRAÑO, EXTRAÑO, Spanish for I Miss You, Stranger.

Here, we’re invited to enjoy unexpected pleasure with unique dishes designed by its two chefs, both committed to culinary exploration and the celebration of Mexican ingredients: Sofía Cortina and Joaquín Cardoso. She, an acclaimed pastry maker who shies away from refined sugars, aiming instead for the natural sweetness of her ingredients, and playing with uncommon elements such as mole and avocado. He, a celebrated chef devoted to the reinterpretation of Mexican ingredients through international techniques, allowing us to taste foods we are familiar with in completely unfamiliar ways.

The brand design is inspired by the interplaying colors of fertile land, by sweet fruit, by the light of dawn that makes us smile, building a space that plays with the transparent and the material. The handmade lines, playful traces and charming nostalgia of a note written with sweet irony and care on a typewriter are like brushstrokes that intermingle, emphasizing the integral and holistic, the new and classic, that is the heart of TE EXTRAÑO, EXTRAÑO.

The name is the signature that finally defines this beautiful place: with a playful sound, it draws inspiration from the constant play in art. It is a name that in its repletion holds the surprise, in its meaning the many interpretations, the openness to everything that could be. A familiar tone that makes us strangers and friends at the same time.

Located in Lagalá cultural and artistic center, TE EXTRAÑO, EXTRAÑO is a space inspired by the poetry in every detail, a place of human warmth, of calm, of light, and soul. Soft and eclectically romantic, this place sinks us in a feeling of timelessness.
